Biographical Information: Noel S. Tonneman was a shareholder in the Family Law Department of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, PA. before leaving to form Tonneman, Vuotto & Enis, LLC in January 2009. She has been engaged exclusively in the practice of matrimonial law since 1988, practicing primarily in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Before entering law school, she taught elementary school from 1976-1981. Ms. Tonneman is a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been certified as an Arbitrator of Matrimonial Issues by that national organization. Ms. Tonneman is qualified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to mediate family law matters. She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers of America ®*, was recognized as one of the Top 50 Female Super Lawyers in New Jersey in 2005, and has been regularly selected as a Super Lawyer in the area of Family Law since then. Ms. Tonneman has served as a panelist in the Early Settlement Program in Monmouth County as well as a Blue Ribbon Panelist and Arbitrator of family law disputes. She serves as a Senior Editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer. She is a former member of the Supreme Court Family Law Practice Committee. Ms. Tonneman has served as trustee of the Monmouth Bar Association and chair of the Monmouth Bar Association Family Law Committee, is treasurer of the Monmouth Bar Foundation, a former member of the District IX Ethics Committee, and a member of the District IX Fee Arbitration Committee. Other bar association memberships include the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Family Law Section.
